Humanoid Robot NAO meeting with UiTM Vice Chancellor Dato’ Sri Prof. Ir. Dr. Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar. Our research team in UiTM is pioneering research on using humanoid robot to assist rehabilitation for autism children. We are very grateful with the support from our VC in this project.
Sumobot Competition is a student mini project under subject MEM665 Robotics and Automation at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering UiTM. Students divided into groups where each group is required to learn and design programming using Sumobot kit. Finalist from 4 classes will compete in this student project competition. Congratulation to all winners and participants. We had a great time and thank you to all staffs and IMechE UiTM Student Chapter for organizing the event. This is a good activity to create awareness and introduce robotics programming skills to the students.
We are honored to be selected to perform our Humanoid Robot NAO at the Majlis Amanat Tahun Baru and Launching of MyGRANT by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE) at PICC Putrajaya on 29th January 2013 . NAO in UiTM is belong to the FRGS Grant project by MOHE (2011-2013) entitled “Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) Algorithm in Robot-Based Intervention of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder”.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) Malaysia Chapter was successfully organized on 19th January 2013 along with the IEEE Malaysia Section AGM at the Pullman Hotel Putrajaya.
